Introducing Penguins: TD! An all-new tower defense adventure that will have you saying "I guess that was neat"

Inspired by classic tower defense games like Bloons TD, Plants vs Zombies, and Defense Grid (but yeah mostly bloons)

Featuring:

• animal-themed towers, with multiple upgrade paths! (there's 2)
• robot-themed enemies, lots and lots of them (they're technically aliens)
• a lot of maps with designs pulled straight from bloons, with one that is not
• there's music
• and sounds
• a title that says "TD" instead of "Tower Defense" because Com2uS trademarked the words "tower" and "defense" put together even though they don't have any tower defense games out they just sue people for using the phrase "Tower Defense"
• a loose "plot" told exclusively through map descriptions because i ran out of time to learn how to do cutscenes in godot
• no microtransactions, hey that's good, right?
• it can run on windows, linux and mac!
  • on mac you have to bypass some stuff bc the system thinks its malware or something
• uhh

I'm not sure if the game is completable in its current state, so here is a code to unlock every map and mode currently out:

In the settings menu,

1. Activate Show FPS 6 times
2. Activate Auto Start 2 times
3. Attempt to enable Creative and Original Ideas 9 times
4. Click Load Developer Save

UPCOMING FEATURES

• implementing the tower upgrades properly, as right now they are barely present
  • this includes descriptions, flavor text, functionality, and prices
• making some of the older maps look better cause they look kinda dookie rn
• new towers
• new modes
• more music and sound effects cause right now all the music is like christmas themed
• make the licenses and credits visible in-game, because i have a whole list of the assets i used but they aren't available to see in-game yet

The project was formerly known as Yesterday's TD by Team Yesterday, but Team Yesterday eventually became just me so the title didn't make much sense
